Build2Light™ systems constructed with the JW Series of track light style light-directed picking modules utilize the same exclusive core Twin-Wire™ design advantages of all our lights. The duct- (or bus-) based track light design provides superior levels of installation, easy maintenance and system expansion, making it one of the world’s most popular light modules. These devices have been installed in hundreds of distribution, fulfillment, logistics and manufacturing facilities worldwide. Convenient surface mounting options include on existing shelving or flat-faced rack systems to reduce both installation time and costs.
The Build2Light Advantage.
When Lightning Pick first introduced our exclusive Twin-Wire design, it represented a major leap over the previous generation’s cumbersome pick-to-light hardware — which used an interconnected, serial cable platform. The duct-/bus-based track light provides superior system scalability, installation, maintainance, reconfiguration and expansion capabilities.
Key Features and Options.
Devices are offered with 0-, 3- and 5-digit displays to direct picking of discete unit quantities. The large, bright, three dimensional dome LED light can illuminate in red, green or seven different colors (white, red, green, blue, orange, purple and turquoise). To facilitate a variety of additional capabilities — such as calling for parts replenishment at specific bin locations — a programmable function button is included.
Easy Installation and Modification.
All JW lights operate independently (no interconnected cabling) as power and data flow through the duct. This means a single device malfunction won’t negatively impact the whole row of lights. The modules are literally plug-and-play, making new device addition a snap. Sliding lights to the right or left on the duct allows parts bin reslotting or resizing to be completed in a matter of minutes — as opposed to the extensive time required by previous generation hard-cabled lights.
