Easy Installation and Modification.

Build2Light hardware is very user self-sufficient and easily installed with only a few basic hand tools. The system requires standard 120-VAC power, an Ethernet jack or connection, and a modest, customer-provided PC running Windows XP or 7.

How Build2Light Hardware Works

All system wiring to the light modules consists of low voltage (12-volt DC) bonded Twin-Wire™ (for JW / SW lights), or rubber-sheathed AI cable (for AW lights). Connection of either cable type to the light controller is made via special polarizing plugs (provided).

Build2Light requires that standard 120-VAC power be available within 6 feet of the light controller (a large Ethernet controller running at full power draws less than 4 amps). The Build2Light software communicates with Ethernet light controllers using your facility’s Ethernet network. Therefore, an Ethernet jack or connection is also required near the Ethernet light controller location.
